Great view. Great service. We had the steak sandwich and the burger and both were good.

Went there over the weekend during the Bike and Bar tour. Service was very slow even before it got crowded. Didn't get a chance to sample the food. The waitress told us she was going to have to cash us out to go help in the bar area. Really? It was raining so I guess they just kicked everyone off the deck area.

We approached our visit with trepidation and low expectations after reading the Yelp reviews, but what an unexpected SURPRISE! We arrived at 12:30 pm on Fathers' Day, parked right in the T. & J. lot, our patio waitress was friendly, efficient, and courteous, the full pound of boiled shrimp were PERFECTLY cooked and seasoned, and would qualify as JUMBO shrmip elsewhere! Four bucks a beer (with great music, and right on the beach) can't be beat! The Smoked Fish Dip was also delicious. About the only thing we would suggest is that draft beer be made available instead of bottles only. And yes, credit cards ARE accepted. We'll be back!

I'm told this establishment has been around many decades, bolstered by its primo beach location a few lots south of Flagler Ave. They have live but not original music, usually. Sandwiches are mediocre at best but reasonably priced for what you get. I enjoyed the turkey provolone (served on a doughy Italian whitebread roll) well enough after working up an appetite with a beach run. If you're going to sit on the deck while the live music is playing note that it is very loud.

Saved my Life! I lost my license on New Smyrna Beach on New Year's Day. I thought I would have to stand in line at the DMV for hours to get a new one, but low and behold I received an envelope in the mail from Toni & Joe's Patio with my license. I cannot thank them enough for returning it so promptly. I can't wait to sample their food and drinks the next time I'm in New Smyrna. Thanks for going above and beyond!!

Just visited this place while visiting for 4th of July. Our group did not have a good experience. We went for breakfast. While our waitress was semi-nice I did notice at first she was not wearing shoes. Another girl with short blonde hair was also working behind the bar. The orders took over 45 minutes to get, basic breakfast sandwhiches and hardly anybody else was there besides our group. My sandwhich had a slice of cheese literally on 1/4th of the burger, really???? You can't move it over before it melts. The fried potatoes were ice cold, I think they had been waiting the 45 minutes on the plate. No one loved their meal, the only thing that looked good was my boyfriend's breakfast burrito. The two female chefs were visible from sitting at the bar and they looked pissed off the entire time. We had to send eggs to the back for being runny and I thought they might spit in them. Slow service, no personalities, not a fan.

Amazing location with lots of table and bar seating, but the service was pretty awful. It was busy since it was Blues Festival weekend, but not as crowded as other local spots on Flagler Avenue that had fewer servers/bartenders. It took one of the 5 bartenders about 10 minutes to notice us sitting at an empty stretch of bar, and it took even longer for us to close out when we got tired of waiting for drinks. The drinks were pretty good at least, and so was the steak hoagie we ordered (that came out in good time) but the staff seemed really disorganized, stressed and unhappy. I'd rather go to Breakers down the beach.

Nice little place, loved the outdoor seating on the beach and breakfast was pretty tasty!

Angry staff, weak drinks, mediocre food. It's the nicest place in town that you should avoid at all costs.

Cold beer on the beach and a good Mahi Mahi sandwich. A good beach bar. They have live music out on the patio, on occasion. The food is decent bar food but you really come here for the view.

(08/01/2010) Who doesn't love a bar that you can walk into right off the beach. Sometime live calypso or Buffet tunes on the deck, reasonable prices.

First of all this place does not accept credit cards as shown in the summary. My wife and I read a review somewhere that this place had the best breakfast in town, so we were surprised when we pulled up on a beautiful Saturday morning and there were only 2 cars in the parking lot, after having driven by our usual breakfast place the Beacon Diner and they were packed. That should have been the first clue. My wife's eggs were runny and tasteless, and my breakfast burrito was just fair. The only nice thing about this place was the location on the beach, but you really can't see the beach if eating inside, and we didn't see that you could eat outside. Like somebody else said here, this place is a bar. Avoid for food, at least for breakfast. Try Beacon Diner, Pappas, or a cafe on Canal St on the mainland instead.

Take it for what it is, a beach bar . Go there for a lazy Saturday and sit on the patio, listen to some music have a drink and a pile of steamed mussels. Relax, enjoy.

This is one of New Smyrna Beach's Iconic oceanfront bar and grill's. I use the term "bar and Grill" because it is more that than a "restaurant". When the inside bar is separated from the outside bar by a large garage door with windows that rolls up when the weather is good, it has to be a bar AND grill. There is a full bar, a few wines and a killer location directly on the beach. On the beach side of the restaurant there are lots of tables, most with umbrellas for shade as well as a bandstand for performers. While there is not an expansive menu, they do serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, Open from 8am - 11pm daily. My all time favorite is their hamburger, thick and Juicy, well seasoned and served with a great topping of chopped lettuce, onions, ect. They are known for their steak hoagie's. They do offer fish, shrimp and clams or mussels to round out their menu This restaurant is well known to locals and is located next to the main life guard station, and the entrance for cars driving onto the beach. Well worth the trip.

The location is perfect, great ocean views, and right on the sand. This is my second time here, and I must say the food and drinks are pretty awful. The first time I came to this place was for drinks and to enjoy the live music. This time we ended up here because it was the only place with a view that was open at 10:00 AM ( since they do serve breakfast), otherwise we would have definitely gone elsewhere.

We always try to stop by for breakfast on the beach patio when in town. Looking out over the ocean, good food, friendly staff.

My husband and I had dinner and drinks at Toni & Joe's last evening while watching the storm pass by north of us. The food was quite good, better than you would expect from the surroundings. Coyla, our bartender and server was quite efficient. The views are great and our overall experience was terrific. Thank you! We'll be back again.

Biggest waste of ocean front property in the world. I've been forced by family and friends to meet here for 30 yrs.. Food sucks, drinks weak, and service brutal. In all that time have never seen an aesthetically pleasing bartender!!!

The view was great and the breakfast was okay and reasonably priced. Service was good in the early am.

Classic beach dive bar - but it does serve the purpose well. Drinks aren't expensive and food isn't great, but you can't beat the view. People are generally friendly and service is pretty good. Don't expect too much and you will have a great time. Live music is nice addition from time to time. Credit cards are now accepted too. They close early so don't expect a late nite. Parking is limited, so ride your bicycle instead. More bicycle parking than car parking.

Great location nice patio with a awesome view of the ocean, nice place to enjoy a few cocktails with friends the food is just okay. Typical beach bar in my opinion if you are expecting 5 stars anything you will be disappointed it is an iconic local hangout. The service leaves a lot to be desired so don't expect to be treated special but it's kinda cool for what it is which is a different experience.

Toni & Joe's is a New Smyrna classic. This is one of the places the locals go if they want to hang out near Flagler. Don't expect top of the line here, you won't get it. What you will get is drinks, friends, live music and a view that can't be beat.

WORST PLACE EVER ON THE EARTH...NO...UNIVERSE..NO...SOLAR SYSTEM - cabb44 - Today After we spent 1 hour and $100.00 here, the owner decided to kick us out for no apparent reason, other than he is insane. For no reason, he called the cops and told us he was having us all arrested for trespassing. These owners are seriously insane. We were doing nothing......but standing up having a drink. No wonder no customers go here. There is never anyone here, and now we know why. Do not ever go here, go down to Breakers instead, where they want you as a customer. NEVER GO TO TONI AND JOES. WE WERE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST FOR NO REASON.......CRAZY OWNERS, NEED TO BE LOCKED AWAY. and it is too bad, because they have an awesome location. THE ONLY REASON WE GAVE 1 STAR IS BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T LET ME GIVE ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!
